The Democratic National Convention kicks off this week in Charlotte, North Carolina. And already, we're seeing pretty stark differences between this week's DNC and last week's RNC. One week after Republicans unveiled the most radical major party platform in American modern history – Democrats have put forward their own political platform. Some of the planks include: a full embrace of marriage equality and woman's right to choose, comprehensive immigration reform, the right for unions to collectively bargain, support for Obamacare, protection of Medicare, as we know it, increased funding for the arts, and cutting off tax breaks for job outsourcers like Bain Capital. While there are too few differences between Republican and Democrats when it comes to the big issues facing the nation like war, free trade, and the corporate takeover of our democracy, there are still huge differences between the two parties as reflected in each platform. While Democrats want to keep moving the nation forward – extending civil rights and economic opportunity to more and more Americans – Republicans want to drag us all backward to the era of the Robber Barons.

This article written, no doubt, by a die-hard democrat...
Do today's Democrats really stand for and support Marxism?
REally 9:51? Why not explain/define specifically "Marxism" and how today's Democrats stand for and support the ideology. You are nothing more than a moron spouting off bumper sticker slogans.
1027-Obama touts income redistribution. Case closed.
"touts income redistribution"? How is that 11:29? Name one specific example or quote from the man. You can't, that's the simple truth. You get you facts from wingnuts on hate radio and Faux News. Get a life, taxes are lower than at any time in modern history...that's a fact. You masters are paying much less than you under the Redumblican Grand Plan for trickle down economics. You bought it, it doesn't work. The wealthy need to pay their fair share.
