Storm Clouds Threaten Obama's Convention Speech

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Reuters) - Democrats in Charlotte, North Carolina, have one eye on the sky as bad weather threatens to spoil the biggest speech of President Barack Obama's re-election campaign.

Meteorologists are forecasting possible thunderstorms over Charlotte for Thursday, when Obama is due to address a crowd of up to 74,000 in a football stadium at the end of the Democratic National Convention.

It was the second time in a week that Mother Nature put a party convention in jeopardy after Tropical Storm Isaac forced the Republicans to cancel the first day of their gathering in Tampa.

He cant fill a 5000 seat auditorium without busing in indigents let alone 74,000 seat stadium.

Moved inside because of embarrassment!
The Democratic party is a partisan FACADE.

With all the lying going on at the convention he's probably worried he will be struck by lightening.

New Poll numbers! WooHoo!!! Real Clear Politics has the averages for the candidates tied with todays release of Gallup and Rasmussen's 7 and 3 day tracking polls. A dead heat with both being at 46.8%.
Obama should have had a bump today after his wife's speech last night but the bump went in Romney's favor. Goes to show that people are getting sick and tired of these two blowing smoke at us.
We need to brace ourselves for the major attack mode they are going to go into in an attempt to take votes away from Romney and Ryan.

Uh, do you think they will still do the Greek columns? They were kinda nice the last time.

I guess they don't care about the people who will be there tonight to see Bill Clinton's speech. Chance of a storm in Charlotte tonight at 10pm is 100%.
Tomorrow night at 10pm the time Obama is scheduled is only 10%.

Now they've are re-adding Jerusalem and God language in their platform.
