Item 2117. Is it saying the council going to take money from the water/sewer account to fund retirement and pension fund. I was understanding the water/sewer was raised to pay for the water treatment plant. If it is paid for why dont the council cut the water sewer bill to the citizens back to where it was???? That would be the only FAIR thing to do.
I keep looking at these posted agenda's to see when they are going to appoint a real fire chief. This acting chief status for Rick Hoppes is wrong. He is not qualified for the job and he doesn't deserve the position. Jim Ireton do the right thing and quit playing games with the city council. This game you are playing has been going on for 9 months. This doesn't include the last time you forwarded his name to the council either.
It has tp do with allication from a specific fund the fund pays for operational expenses. That includes wwtp employees.
It is just an accounting thing that is an adjustment required because of some state policy. They talked about it at the last meeting.
Get rid of Hoppes before we get rid of you!
Campbell and Ireton will soon be up for re-election and I have a hard time believing they both will get re-elected. Hoppes has wasted millions in tax dollars and that is not what the city tax payers want.
