Somerset County Sheriff's Office Press Release 8-24-12

Scherrie Elizabeth Wallace of Princess Anne, arrested 8-10-12 for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol per-se, and driving while impaired by alcohol. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop conducted by deputies on Somerset Ave, Princess Anne. Wallace was released on signature pending court actions.

Robert Lee Jefferson of Salisbury, arrested 8-16-12 on a warrant for violation of probation. Jefferson was held on a $10,000 bond.

Jackie Lee Mitchell of Westover, arrested 8-16-12 for theft less than $1,000, and theft less than $100.00. The arrest was the result of a theft investigation conducted by deputies at Somerset Well Drilling Co, Westover. Mitchell was later released on personal recognizance pending court actions.

Darlene May Ward and Heather Nichole Lambertson both from Crisfield, arrested 8-17-12 for warrants regarding possession of marijuana, possession of cds not marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Plantation Rd, Crisfield where both subjects occupied a vehicle. Darlen May Ward was charged additionally for possession of suspected heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies recovered several needles and suspected heroin from Wards purse after the arrest. Both subjects were later held on a $15,000 bond.

Joseph George Hoffman 3rd. of Princess Anne, arrested 8-19-12 on a warrant for theft. The arrested was the result of a traffic stop conducted by deputies on Deal Island Rd. Hoffman was later turned over to the Maryland State Police for processing.

James Paul Stephens of Crisfield, arrested 8-20-12 on a warrant for violation of probation. Stephens was later released after posting bond.

Kenneth Thomas Smith of Laurel Delaware, arrested 8-21-12 on warrant for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree sex offence, sodomy, sexual abuse of a minor, and two counts of second degree assault. Smith was later held without bond.

Natasha Marie Albrecht of Marion, arrested 8-22-12 on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Albrecht was later released on personal recognizance.

Damien Lamont Edmontson of New York New York, arrested 8-23-12 on a fugitive warrant from Kentucky. Edmontson was later held without bond pending extradition. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop conducted by deputies on Ocean Highway, Pocomoke.
