Was the council drunk, bullied or just not thinking straight when they passed this? Aren't they listening to us, the voters who elected them?

bad move! The grants are like economic bailouts. it keeps the lights on for the time being. What happens when the grant money is all gone and we have to pick up the moving forward tab. Looks like the fire dept just got more expensive.
