BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Maryland agency has announced the opening of the state's first trade office in Africa.

Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development announced
Wednesday that the trade office will be based in Nigeria.

In NIGERIA?! Are they kidding? the nexis of scams and ripoffs? THAT'S the best our "leaders" can do? I can already see millions disappearing overnight and no one in the government will be able to say what happened. Something like the Corzine affair, where a BILLION dollars "disappears" and NO ONE knows where. And no one goes to jail. Do you know hard it is to make a BILLION dollars just go "poof"? VERY VERY hard....But Corzine was protected and covered. And he KNEW it, thats why he barely broke a sweat....But YOU better not be caught stealing a loaf of bread to feed your kids. DOZENS of police, dogs and a helicopter will chase you through fields and neighborhoods...And kill you (because you "looked like" you MIGHT have possibly been reaching for a .45). THAT, in a nutshell, describes our system.
