Ed Colbert (left), owner of Deer Run Golf Club in Berlin presents a check for $10,174.81 to Rota Knott, Worcester County coordinator for Women Supporting Women. The donation is the proceeds of a June 9 golf tournament held at Deer Run and hosted by Colbert and his wife, Margaret, to benefit the Berlin-based chapter of the local breast cancer awareness and support organization.

Ed is a good guy and has raised a lot of money for charity in the last 10 years.
