US Army Band To Play Free Concert In Salisbury On Friday July 6

78th U.S. Army Band Concert
DATE: July 6, 2012
TIME: 7:00pm to 9:00pm
LOCATION: Salisbury Government Office Building
125 North Division Street

On Friday, July 6, the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce & The City of Salisbury are sponsoring an evening of music by the 78th Army Band, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on the steps of the City/County Office building, on the corner of Main & Division streets. The 78th Army band was formed in August of 1943 and played for troops during World War II, all over Europe. Currently, the band calls Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ "home", and they will be playing several shows in the area surrounding the Fourth of July holiday week.

Ain't you glad our soldiers don't operate that way? It's too hot today sir, let's just let the enemy win, at least we will be cooler.
