Negatory.I don't wish to expedite the big brother takeover.Rarely will I use a credit card.Always cash and never purchase on line.I'm already getting strange looks when I hand the cashier actual cash. That should not be.Right now credit and debit card use vs cash ratio is 80/20 nationwide.Discounts are a plus & even more of a eason to use cash.

Usually they offer a discount if you pay with your credit card.
No-I'm like 11:51 and always pay with cash. I do make some online used and out of print book purchases with my credit card.
Should be the opposite, discount for cash! Greedy banks seeking to ingest more taxpayers with debt
No...I pay cash for everything. No plastic for me!
Depends on the size of the discount and transaction.
Case-in-point: I have seen gas stations charge 5 cents per gallon extra to use a credit card.
At $3.50 a gallon, that amounts to less than 1½%.
If I use a credit card, they will pay 3% "rewards" back to me. Over 10 cents per gallon!
Do the math: Would YOU pay a nickle more to get a dime back? On every gallon!
I still end up ahead of those who choose to pay cash.
