Reports by Fox 5 about a D.C. police officer making inappropriate
comments in regards to the First Lady are "wildly inaccurate," Police Chief Cathy
L. Lanier said Thursday night in a statement from the Metropolitan Police
Department.
Lanier also says the reports aren't consistent with what authorities are
investigating.
Reports surfaced Thursday afternoon that a D.C. police officer who worked as a
motorcycle escort for White
House officials was placed on administrative duty after accusations surfaced that
he made threatening comments against First Lady Michelle Obama.
