About 200,000 Girl Scouts gathered on the National Mall to celebrate
the organization's 100th anniversary with celebrities
including Mandy Moore, a former scout.
Organizers said the Saturday event was the largest gathering of Girl Scouts
in history, with girls coming from around the world. They hope to set a Guinness
World Record. Girls from every state were expected to attend.
"We've done the 80th, the 90th, the 95th, but really those were rehearsals for
this big day," Lidia Soto-Harmon, chief executive officer of the Girl Scout
Council of the Nation's Capital, said.

When meeting with the advisors and big wigs of the Girl Scouts ask them why such a great organization has changed their uniform supplier from a US company to China
Can I get a Thin Mint there?
I won't support the girl scouts until they adopt the same position as the boy scouts regarding homosexuals.
10:17 That's pitiful, you need second class citizens so you can feel better about yourself.
10:17-- You are of course welcome to your position, but I think you really miss the point. This is an organization that has been providing programs and leadership for young ladies for 100 years. Both of my daughters are Gold Award honorees. The experiences afforded by Girl Scouts have been invaluable.
I glad they have good experiences from the scouts but the safety of the children must come first whether it's a physical or mental threat. Homosexuality is proven to be a learned behavior and shouldn't be learned by scouts.
The Girl Scout Promise
On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
Homosexuality is proven to be a learned behavior and shouldn't be learned by scouts.
5:53 You and everyone else knows that is pure nonsense.
Sorry there is room for Rainbow Scouts if homos want to be a part of something. I do not want gay women around my children during development years. Sorry it just is the way it is.
9:15 sorry, it is learned.
2:08. How did you learn to be heterosexual?
