BREAKING NEWS: GAS LEAK ON ELIZABETH STREET
Someone hit a gas line by T's Market on Rt. 13 & Elizabeth Street.
UPDATE:We're now being told a backhoe may have ruptured a gas pipe and you can hear the gas coming out of the line. This is very dangerous.

Thanks for reporting this. I live in the neighborhood and couldn't find info anywhere in the other news outlets. I'm surprised they haven't asked us to evacuate until they get it under control. Seriously considering leaving until its taken care of.

Thanks again.
Yup, watching all the action. Two firetruck, Chesapeake gas. And a whole bunch of people standing around.
Just heard they are evacuating the south side of Elizabeth, due to someone feeling light headed and dizzy.
Someone strike a match and let's start over from scratch, after everyone is evacuated of course.
Hisss, BOOM, Bah!
it's two south of Elizabeth St., Williams St.
Somebody did not call MISS UTILITY or someone was too lazy to dig with a shovel within 24 inches of the yellow painted lines as the law requires !
Or miss utility did not mark it properly.
