ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland state employees will be unveiling a "Doomsday Clock" to count down when a half a billion in budget cuts will take effect, unless a special session is called to change the budget.
The Maryland State Education Association is planning to show the clock on Wednesday at its Annapolis office.
MSEA says an educator, a member of the police department, librarian a parole and probation officer and others will attend the event.

Screw the MSEA! They, as opposed to the indeividual teachers who make up their membership, could give two shits about your kid and a good education. The union is only concerned with power, money, and influence. And both of my parents were teachers who had the good sense to get out, so I do know something of which I speak.
It's time for all of us to vote the Dems out of office!!!!
Um, I won't be able to make it... that's my nap time. You boys have fun with your little meeting...
MSEA can't even spell clock. They are a big part of the problem.
