Prepper's Commentary About Storing Up For National Emergency

I believe the feature articles by Prepper regarding preparation for a pending national calamity are very valuable to SBYnews readers. I have been rethinking my own household - not that I'm a pessimist - but because it is the only prudent thing to do in light of what is happening here in Maryland. With so many festering problems; run-a-way government debt, rising gas prices, unemployment, banking crisis, rumors of wars - etc.

Thank Prepper for the valuable advice and encourage her or him to keep it coming. I firmly believe that something dramatic is definitely going to happen. It is not a question as to will it happen - but when.

Thanks for the acknowledgment. I agree that sometime very soon we will all rely on the preparations we've made. Unfortunately many won't prepare and will find themselves in a position where starvation is a real possibility. While I pray that will not be the case, I know it will. I try to prepare a little extra so that I will not have to watch my neighbors starve but my family is my primary concern. The reason I write these articles is to educate those who don't realize the importance of prepping and to get them interested in educating themselves. Let's keep this thing rolling. Tell your neighbors and friends. Tell your kids. Tell all of your relatives. Let them know that even the Federal Government suggests active, comprehensive preparation for disasters. Convince them that this is no longer considered a practice limited to the right wing fringe. Be safe. Prepare.

I am doing some re-thinking also. Another war seems to be on the way with Iran. Cops are being trigger happy and killing people right and left. We have rights until we try to use them. Then we are beaten down, shot, killed, arrested. Etc.

You can't trust anyone. You can't trust your neighbor. And you certainly can't trust cops. Better clean our weapons and trust them.

Imagine if you were in New Orleans and the police were going around confiscating weapons from law abiding citizen. As a law enforcement officer I would have refused to follow the order to violate the 2nd amendment right of the people. As a citizen I would have refused them entry. Remember the O.K. Corral? They have no authority to violate constitutional rights. Troubled times are coming.

I also believe our nation is on the precipice of something disastrous. Just look around you - so many ominous signs of pending disaster. Any one of them and yet multiples of troubling signs.

I do not recall in my lifetime so many things converging at the same time. Better to be prepared than to wait til its to late.

I am getting more prepared every day.I also talk with the people I work with and it seems like there ore more & more people on the same page every day. The two most imporant things in my life are my fmaily and my faith. And that is why I do what I do.

We are, without a doubt, on the verge of something very bad. I will be doing my best to prepare for whatever may come. Whatever it is. One would be wise to do so. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. I have had many people asking about a general gathering for preppers to share information about growing, canning, etc. How many would be interested?

Just a "adjustment" coming.Nothing to be alarmed about. The change will be slow and gradual. There's no harm in being prepared for the worst, but above all expect the best.A truly great man once said "The only thing to fear is fear itself".If we can just remember that, all else will fall in line.

12:20 did you see the video of the cops taking the gun from the 80yo lady I will say it was nothing but sad. I truly don't know how any cop could do that. And to 3:25 sounds good to me. I for one would like to meet others who think like we do and can help eachother out.

There is nothing to fear except fear itself.

WEll then, I am afraid of the fear that my society will collapse. I am afraid of the fear that roaming gangs of people will try to steal all of my food and supplies. I fear the fear of it all.

Wait a minute. I actually fear the people who will try to take my stuff. I don't fear the fear. I FEEL the fear. I am afraid. I am not afraid of fear. I am afraid of the roaming gangs.

What idiot created that saying?

FEAR.

You are only afraid of the fear of the roaming gangs. YOu are not afraid of the gangs. Only afraid of the fear of the gangs.

The gangs will merely steal your supplies. Don't be afraid of them. Be afraid of the fear that they will steal it. If you are only afraid of the fear that they will steal it, and realize it, then soon you will also realize that they won't actually . . .

Hey, wait a minute. They really WILL steal my stuff! They really will try to kill me if necessary and steal my supplies. I am afraid of the PEOPLE.

Sounds a lot like Freedom isn't free.

Water isn't really wet. Water makes you think of wet-ness.

The modern era of gibberish:

Up is down, black is white, war is peace, and poor is rich.

Sit down, paint your white face black, lay down your guns, and think happy thoughts. You will soon be rich.

FDR said, There is nothing to fear except fear itself.

But then again, he KNEW the Japanese were going to attack Pearl Harbor and allowed it to happen so he could get America into the great war for Israel.

He had no fear because the boogeymen worked for him.
