Does that really contribute anything to the topic/conversation?

Obama has not raised taxes on anyone. He is fighting republican congress to extend tax cuts right now!

Maybe some of you need to look up your US Constitution. The president doe not raise or lower taxes. THe Bill starts in the house and so on. Congress sends the bill to the president to pass or veto the bill.
So to say Obama raised taxes is wrong. Plus, i would like someone to present how he raised taxes on anyone?

Obama has not raised taxes? Okay where do I start with all the new taxes hidden in Obamacare scheduled to take effect soon:

2.3% tax on manufactures of medical devices (will get passed on to consumer)

Eliminating corp deduction for prescrip meds for retirees (cost will get passed on to retirees)

Increased taxes on health insurance companies (will get passed on to those who purchase insurance)

Already in effect a "fee" on manufacturers of branded drugs.

This is just a sampling of ways in which taxes were raised and have been passed on to consumers. Individuals may not feel they have been taxed directly but the bottom line is-it is coming out of consumers pockets when deductions are eliminated, fees imposed and taxes increased on anything.

5:17, all these new hidden taxes, fees and deductions are within the healthcare bill which was created by democrats and FYI was passed while the dems had control of the congress, so in answer to your question "a republican congress" it is NO it was NOT a republican congress when it was written and passed.
