Selbyville-Troopers have charged Ralph J. Mitchell Jr-60 of Georgetown in connection with an Unlawful Sexual Contact incident involving a 42 year old female that occurred at a West Fenwick Island restaurant on Thursday, December 15, 2011.

On Friday, December 16, 2011 State Police Detectives conducted an unlawful sexual contact investigation alleged to have occurred on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at a Christmas party being held at the Smitty McGee’s Restaurant in Selbyville. The investigation revealed that the victim, an acquaintance of Mitchell, was seated at a table across from him when he reached across the table and made unwanted and inappropriate sexual contact that caused her offense and alarm.

Following the State Police Investigation an arrest warrant for Mitchell was obtained and he turned himself into Detectives on Saturday, December 17, 2011.

Mitchell was charged with the above crime and released on $500.00 Unsecured Bond.
