SALISBURY, Md. - A feasibility study will be done to determine whether upgrades are needed at a Maryland stadium that's home to a minor league baseball team.
Members of the Wicomico County Council approved paying one-third of the cost for a feasibility study of Perdue Stadium, where the Delmarva Shorebirds play. The Daily Times of Salisbury reports the Maryland Stadium Authority's study will focus on what upgrades are needed to keep the team viable and profitable

Here we go again..
Can't manage to pave a road, but we're going to throw more tax money at a STADIUM.
What a screwed set of priorities.
If our County Council can't put money into local schools and our kids, when in the heck would we throw money into Perdue Stadium. I say let the Shorebirds to it themselves and if not, see ya later!
I know this wont shock you, but the Dispatch had this in their paper a long time before the Daily Rag did. When will they kill the so called paper all together.
Maybe the Shorebirds should switch affiliations back to the Nationals. Atleast then you don't have to sit through the O's annual stinkathon!
It's a 15 year old stadium, and in good shape. If the Shorebirds want an upgrade, let them put a product on the field that generates the revenue necessary to pay for upgrades.
