CHESAPEAKE, Va. (AP) - A Portsmouth woman faces up to 50 years behind bars after admitting to beheading a piglet and leaving its head on the owner's front porch.
Twenty-two-year-old Ashley Fowler pleaded guilty in Chesapeake Circuit Court on Friday to two counts of killing or maiming livestock, and one count of breaking and entering.

I liked that, 50 years for killing a pig.
She should have made some ham, bacon and pork chops from the rest of the pig-- then what would have happened?
this world is crazy upside down. You get50 years for killing a pig.
But if you kill a human and get 20 years you are out in six years.Also it used to be You were innocent until proven guilty. Today it is you are assumed guilty until you prove your innocense. What an upside world we live in.were they call wrong right and right wrong.
This needs to happen to a few local pea brained pigs.
Still, wasn't her pig. She stole it. killed it and put its head on the owners porch, as some kind of warning. Nothing to do with food mentioned in story.
You don't get bacon,pork chops nor ham from piglets.
Child molesters like Thomas Leggs don't get 50 years! (See: his previous offenses) so we care more about pigs than children in the country?
