Extreme Makeover Crew Donates Winnings To Jusst Sooup

Jusst Sooup Ministry in Lewes is in line for a major donation thanks to the efforts of two ABC “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” crew members.

On the Nov. 17 edition of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire,” Paige Hemmis and Michael Moloney, who took part in the local build for the Dunning family, won $100,000 playing for the ministry.

Here's another question I'd like answered. If anyone deserved all that money (IMHO) why not Sarah Foxwell's siblings and the Aunt raising them. Mind you, perhaps they never asked but if there was ever a family that could use a great break like this, I'd think they would be better recipients

This is wonderful news! Hopefully the soup cafeteria can be relocated to an area that would best serve its intended recipients. The Lord works in mysterious ways...........

10:53, Extreme Home Makeover criteria not only consists of someone being needy themselves, but the recipient must also give back to the community. For instance the Dunnings in Lewes lost their own home to foreclosure many years ago, but operate the soup kitchen.
2:05, the whole thing is a mess. I believe the Dunnings were under the impression they could operate as a soup kitchen at the location. I believe also the builder was surprised by what was actually being built but can't tell his side of the story. I know from someone else who has been on reality TV the confindentiality agreement they sign is an inch think.
