TRENTON, N.J. – A New Jersey couple who gave their three children Nazi-inspired names -- including "Adolf Hitler" -- said the state has taken custody of their newborn.
The Express-Times reported late Friday that Deborah Campbell gave birth Thursday to a son named Hons Campbell.
She and her husband Heath Campbell, of Holland Township, N.J., made news in 2008 when a supermarket refused to inscribe a birthday cake with the words "Happy Birthday Adolf Hitler."

That poor innocent child is going to suffer and will be ostracized, tormented & taunted all of his life now due to his ignorant parents' stupidness!
Aside from the fact that the parents, whack as they are, have given their kids names that will guarantee their ability to fight well, I have to pose a couple of questions, 1) how can the State decide which names are okay for children? 2)how can the state condone a mother having child after child with no means of supporting them while they live in squalor, yet say a NAME is sufficient reason to take someone's kid? 3) is Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse-Tung and Pol Pot also banned? What about Charles Manson? The State needs to publish a list for those with not enough common sense to go with Mike, or Sarah, or such....you know, just to let us know what they will ALLOW us to do.....
As crazy as these people are for naming their kids as they did. The State had no right to take their children. If everybody that had a past reputation lost their kids the State would have everybodies kids. This is America and however stupid it is to name your kids after Nazis. It shouldn't matter in a free country. They could name their kids Bull Crap, Horses Ass
or B. S. It doesn't matter this is an issue of taking our freedoms away and our government taking over. Sounds like Russia or some other communist country when you can't have the freedom to name your kids what you want. Now thanks to Obama the Government wants to control every part of your life. Even to the point of telling you it is time for Grandma to die lets give her a pill to kill her. You know gotta make room for the new babies.
Did either of you actually read the full article?
"A panel of three appellate judges ruled in August 2010 that the DYFS was correct in removing the three children from the Campbells' custody because Heath Campbell was "a risk of harm to his children" and Deborah Campbell's "denials of her husband's history of violence also made her a risk of harm to the children," according to The Star-Ledger."
I suspect their names were only part of the decision to remove the children. The father's history of violence and the mother's denial of his behavior were the reason.
