Smokers, Obese Workers Penalized With Higher Health Insurance Premiums

More and more employers are demanding that workers who smoke, are overweight or have high cholesterol shoulder a greater share of their health care costs, a shift toward penalizing employees with unhealthy lifestyles rather than rewarding good habits.

I completely agree with companies making people who live unhealthy lifestyles pay more for their insurance. People who don't smoke, don't take illegal drugs and maintain healty body weights require less medical treatment. Why should those who are responsible have to pay for those who are not? I, for one, am tired of subsidizing others who make poor decisions and expect others to pay their way....
