PHILADELPHIA — Former heavyweight champion Joe Frazier has liver cancer and is under hospice care.
The 67-year-old boxer was diagnosed four or five weeks ago, Frazier’s personal and business manager said Saturday. Leslie Wolff told The Associated Press that doctors have not yet told Frazier how long he has to live.
“We have medical experts looking into the all the options that are out there,” Wolff said. “There are very few. But that doesn’t mean we’re going to stop looking.”

God Bless him, I will pray for him.
I wonder if all them body punches over the years had anything to do with it.
There are no more options under hospice care. They just make you as comfortable as possible until you die. Sorry to hear about the Champ.

If that were the case, wouldn't most boxers have liver disease?
Where did you get this picture joe?
God bless him. I have seen people bounce back and last long enough to put Hospice on hold. However, in all reality even though hospice is heaven sent for the comfort they give, if you've worked around the elderly long enough it's like seeing the Grim Reaper walk in.
No offense at all to Hospice, it does give the family some comfort also knowing that someone is always there to comfort their loved ones.
