As Christine O'Donnell signed copies of her new book Saturday, people were still buzzing about the failed Senate candidate's headline-grabbing walkout during an interview earlier in the week on CNN.
Supporters approached O'Donnell at a table at the Barnes & Noble at Concord Mall and said she was right to bolt from Piers Morgan's show after he asked the onetime abstinence activist about her views on sex and gay marriage. O'Donnell has called the questions "creepy" and borderline sexual harassment.
"He would have never done that to a male politician," Don Criscuolo, 69, of Wilmington, said after O'Donnell signed his audiobook copy of "Troublemaker."
O'Donnell walked out of Morgan's New York studio Wednesday, 23 minutes into an interview about the book, refusing to answer his questions about whether she supports gay marriage and whether she still thinks masturbation is wrong -- issues she addresses in the book. O'Donnell told Morgan she wanted to talk about fiscal and constitutional issues, instead.

He was asking her about topics she wrote about in the book she was there to publicize. Is any question other than "Tell me, how awesome are you?" considered "Gotcha!" journalism now?
Sad to see that the only women the Republican party is advancing are fruitcakes who run so they can get a book deal. Leading Republican women used to be strong and smart. Now the GOP is opting for "pretty sells."
It also loses and writes a bad book.
Seriously. She can't hold up her end of any interview that has depth, so she acts like a small child and runs away, all the while acting outraged over the "poor treatment" by the interviewer. Why do serious journalists keep trying? They should let her fade back into the obscurity she came from. Or back under the rock.

This woman's a freakin' nut. Now she's trying to turn it around to look like she was picked on because she's a woman??! I watched the interview, LMAO because she only wanted to discuss what she wanted to, not the interviewer. Then suddenly had another interview to attend immediately after not getting her way. The scary part is she has followers!
Stop complaining. She was successfully in accomplishing the most important thing and that was tossing Mike Castle out of office. Sure, Looney Coons beat her in the general election but there will come another day to work on him.
