CNN) -- Are users of other Web browsers smarter than the people who use Microsoft's Internet Explorer?
A new survey doesn't quite say so. But it sure as heck suggests it.
The survey by AptiQuant, a Vancouver-based Web consulting company, gave more than 100,000 participants an IQ test, while monitoring which browser they used to take the test.
The result? Internet Explorer users scored lower than average, while Chrome, Firefox and Safari users were slightly above average.

I believe in this study. I use Firefox and I know I am a genius.
what about those of us that use several browsers?
Probably because ie crashed before the test was over.
I use both an APPLE computer and a WINDOWS computer. It's like day and night - natually I prefer the MAC but not everything works on my MAC so am forced to use WINDOWS IE once in a while vs. Safari on my MAC. I love love love my MAC. No freezing up and crazy viruses to deal with.
IE doesn't save everything you have ever searched in THEIR cache like the others do. So I am suspect of this article because Google wants to know everything about you so it can serve ads up to you. And for all of you who don't trust the president, then I would be suspect too since he appointed the CEO of Google to be the head of the White Houses New Technology Dept.
