White House officials should have "kept their mouths shut" about the reported treasure trove of material and intelligence seized from Osama bin Laden's compound during last week's raid, charged former CIA Director James Woolsey during a radio interview.
Woolsey further criticized the Obama administration for entering a debate about whether to release a photo of bin Laden's body, advising the president's representatives to "calm down" with conflicting narratives.
On the issue of the announced seizure of material from bin Laden's house in Abbottabad, Pakistan, Woolsey said, "One of the things that I think the PR people in the administration should have kept their mouths shut about was our having collected a large amount of intelligence."
Continued Woolsey, "The story we should have put out is that we tried to get [the material] but we were too rushed and there was a lot there, but we couldn't get it out. And put that out from an unidentified official.
"Because one of the last things you want to do is tell people that you have captured a great amount of material," he said. "I have no idea why they felt they wanted to make that public."

This is exactly the kind of incompetent crap you get when you elect, to the most powerful position any man on earth can hold, a man who has never managed a crisis, a business, an intelligence operation, or anything other than a "community organization". He doesn't understand (although I would hope that SOMEONE tried to tell him) that you DON'T reveal what you know to the enemy. That, of course, is predicated upon believing the people who are trying to kill you are REALLY your enemy, not just an oppressed religious group being held down and persecuted by racist and bigoted Americans. You can bet that most of the people we would still like to catch have already moved, changed their cell phones, burned their documents, etc., thanks in large part to obama's need to crow to the world about how good a job he did. You'd almost think he jumped out of the helicopter and subdued Osama all by himself, while the SEALS just stood by and watched him work. Oh lawd, chile!!! obama saved us all, AGAIN!!! You are HEALED!!!

I wonder if there was any "intel" gathered at all. May be Obama just said that to make the American people feel safer and make him look better. I really don't believe anything he has to say right now except for that Bin Laden is dead. That I do believe.
Of course he released this info. He has to give his buddies the heads up.
