One Year Ago Today

It was one year ago today Governor O'Malley signed the new sex offender bills into law.

It was an emotional roller coaster but the end result was a bitter sweet victory. Convicted Sex Offenders in Maryland will now serve a minimum of 15 years in prison without the chance for parole and no time off for good behavior.

At the same time people Kill, Rob, Shoot,Beat Up and do spousal abuse and there is still NO LIST for these type of crimes WHY ?? A friend of mine met a guy in a bar on night and got his name and went to bathroom and ran it on sex-offenders page and came up empty and she felt safe and started a relationship with him WELL several months later he beat the hell out of her and after looking into it deeper he had been convicted of spousal abuse twice on the past???? WHERE ARE OTHER LISTS AT to make us safe from all TYPES of criminals or should we only be scared of sex offenders and not killers, abusers, drug dealers and gun offenders???
