The Republicans better get a serious candidate or we are going to be in the same boat we are in right now with an unqualified, unAmerican president for another 4 year term.
I cannot imagine another four years of Obama. Our country is in the worst shape it has ever been as long as I have been alive. My mother who is almost 80 even plans to register to vote just to hope make a difference, but even then, I feel the votes will be "fixed" so that Obama is put right back in even though he has destroyed our country.
To defeat Obama, who once seemed very vulnerable, the Republicans are going to have to nominate a fresh face, someone like Gov. Christie of NJ or Jindal of LA. To parade the "same 'ol, same 'ol) before the voters--Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, or, heaven help us, Sarah Palin--will result in handing a second term to Obama, arguably one of the worst presidents of the past century. Surely there is someone out there who can capture our imaginations and our votes.
I agree it is not the Republicans turn to win. The last time the Repubs didn't seem to try. I mean come on, McCain and Palin? Really?
They are almost laughing at us. I too believe both parties are controlled. It is controlled opposition to the facade of a Democracy in which we have no choice at all.
Huckabee would've given us an honest TRUE American president. Not a Sudaneeeeeeezzz american wanta be. I'll vote for Bart Simpson if he runs against the waste we have in the White House right now.

Not to be rude but, who cares? We got enough who think they want to be president to be worried about those who do not.
Sorry to hear this. He was the Republican's best bet--at least in my opinion.

Come on folks. Once again . . . it is not the Republicans' turn.
Barry (like Dubya, and Clinton) will get 2 terms to enable his puppet masters to destroy parts of the American Dream.
