Source Water Protection Project Of The Year Award


Mayor James Ireton, Jr. is proud to announce the City of Salisbury and the City of Fruitland will share the Source Water Protection Project of the Year award from Maryland Rural Water Association for the Salisbury/Fruitland Water Connection Project. This award will be presented at the Maryland Rural Water Association Annual Conference on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in Ocean City, MD.

lmao, what a joke, the biggest polluter of the wicomico gets an award for protecting the water! What's wrong with this picture?

Maybe it's to do with the drinking water sources?

What I noticed was that Ireton made the announcement alone for a shared award.

Would have been nice if made along with Fruitland City Manager.

But Ireton is all about himself.

BINGO!! You hit the nail on the head. He is such a loser and I think I would rather have Barrie Tilghman as mayor. At least we knew what to expect from that pig.

The Fruitland City Manager is not a mayor. He operates at the pleasure of the City Council. It would have been better to announce it with the Fruitland City Council. The City Manager was not around when this deal was struck.
