More than half of the illegal immigrant families in many states are on welfare — as many as 62 percent in Arizona — and they’re getting the taxpayer-funded benefits through their American-born children, Judicial Watch reports.
What’s more, families headed by immigrants, both legal and illegal, use welfare programs at a consistently higher rate than native-born Americans, the conservative foundation contends.
Judicial Watch cited an analysis that the Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies did of U.S. Census Bureau data. The study, which looked at eight publicly funded assistance programs, said the states where immigrant households with children have the highest welfare-use rates following Arizona’s 62 percent are Texas, California, and New York, at 61 percent each, and Pennsylvania, at 59 percent.

And I wonder why we're having budget problems. Get the illegals OUT of the country & OFF our welfare rolls. Sounds simple to me, certainly not rocket science.

Every country throughout the world KNOWS, they can not crush America militarily. But, they do know, hit America pockets. This will destroy and crush the U. S. of America. A bankrupt American will destroy our freedom and this country.
We won't have to worry about it much longer. The whole freakin country will be broke and "nobody" will be getting welfare. Then they will all pack up and go back home and we'll be stuck here working for China.
everyone always talks about the minority within the minorty. why dont they do a study on the illegals that pay into social security and pay taxes that will never use or have access to the programs they help funds. yes they are illegal but im just sayin

There aren't many paying in at all, and most of those that are paying taxes are getting more in welfare than they're paying in.
And that doesn't count the cost of them showing up in emergency rooms, either.
Maryland was one of the states giving drivers licenses to illegals for years, and we probably have a large percentage still here.
That's probably a big part of why our education budget is eating us alive.
