Just spoke with Showell Administrative Assistant. MSP conducted a search of the school after a domestic dispute last night led to threats against a student and a parent. School was found clear and school has resumed.

Just wondering if this happened last night (bomb threat) why did they even allow the children as well as the adults to enter the building this morning before completely checking it. Something just doesn't sound right. Seems like a huge risk that was taken with our children some honest answer's would be nice.

I agree! Parents were not noticed until 12:30pm... 3 1/2 hours after the fact. Parents were not given the right to come pick their children up and were completely left in the dark regarding their children being in a potentially dangerous situation. This is NOT the first time the Worcester County Board of Ed has made careless decisions like this regarding our children. What will it take? A child to get hurt first before they start notifying parents sooner? Also.. why don't we start locking our schools? Anyone can just walk right in there at any time!

Our kids were made to sit outside for 2 hours right next to the school... HELLO! How was this safe if a bomb did go off? John Andes needs to get his head out of his butt and start making better decisions where our children are concerned especially since he likes to keep whats happening a secret from parents!
