While MANY have popped a cork and started celebrating, Joe Albero isn't going anywhere.
There is much work to be done. We have accomplished so much over the years, I'm NOT letting ANYONE down.
As for the Sheriff's Department, States Attorneys Office and Department Heads within the City of Salisbury and Wicomico County, I can't thank these fine people enough. They work tirelessly, some times throughout the night and even days at a time without any sleep. They're paid peanuts for their dedication and service to our communities and while we rag on them every so often, I personally respect what they do and the pressures their under.
In closing, NO ONE is going to try to scare me into calling it quits, I just don't work that way. Never have, never will.

I guess I'm am naive because I took it to heart that you were really shutting down! It takes a genuine family and a guy like you to put up with all the trash that they have had put upon you; so I could understand why you could have said "enough." I am a 3-4 time a day reader, and was really distraught at the thought of not being able to get current news. You are our only source of anything relatively current on the happenings around here. In the end "you got me... and good!" I am so happy you are still here with us; and I mean that with all my heart. You are a valuable addition to our community; and honestly I don't know how else we would get our news. My family and I appreciate you and your family's unselfish dedication to our communities; and your obscene, ignorant detractors can just go dig a swamp hole in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties until they find the bottom.
