We did have the money and technology, your policticans make it as easy as they could to come take it. The money went to China when politicians made it imopossible for companies to make a profit, over taxation, over regulation, unions and an open door policy od trade. The technology was ours and stolen and those that stole it received little oe no punishment when they should have been put to death.

In 20-years, China will be the world's military and economic superpower and the USA will be a third rate country believeing and pretending it is still the world's military and economic superpower. Sadly, our kids who are currently suffering in our public schools system have no idea the dismal future they have ahead of them. Kids today had better learn to live and expect much less during the remainder of their lives. I've already gotten mine, good luck to days youth. Your going to need it.

How stealthy can it be if we already know about it? But, in all seriousness, a lot of the information on this plane has been out there for years. It is in the news now to create opposition to the military funding cuts. Any war we have with China will not be fought with high-tech aircraft, instead it will be in the boardrooms of our corporations. As a nation, our secret weapon in this war is the attractiveness of personal freedom and entrepreneurism that will cause the Chinese to become more like us. The dragon is out of the bottle, and there is no putting it back. Now we just have to figure out what dragons' eat....that's the business to be in!

Give China about another 7-10 years. They will TELL us to leave the Pacific Ocean area or else. Taiwan? They will be on their own. Japan and Korea? Good luck. China is developing a nuclear, blue water navy and an Air Force that ain't taking any crap. Who are they planning to engage? It COULD be anothe "Cold War" like we had with the Soviet Union. The difference being we don't have the money for it this time. Or the will. Get used to being pushed around and treated like the second-rate, has been that we will become in the next decade.

This is what liberalism has made us.

I swear I've never seen a more clueless bunch. Where are all the conservatives who actually allow facts to back up thier positions?

10:21, maybe you should check your numbers on the profits that the defense industry continues to make in the US before spouting more nonsense.

12:23, seems to me we've had republican leadership in the whitehouse for 2/3 of the last 30 years along with a rep. congress for many of those years.
