It's seems that Mexican police will be patrolling the streets of Staten Island.
"In a series of events which has caused wide notice and a storm of protests, the government of Mexico, through its consulate in New York in the United Nations, has announced it will begin patrolling the New York City borough of Staten Island to “safeguard” its nationals there.
The actions of Mexico come after a series of incidents the Mexican government terms “bias attacks.”
“We will act decisively in order to protect our citizens and will actively promote that those guilty of these vicious attacks are brought to justice expeditiously. We are working hand-in-hand with local authorities on all levels,” said Consul General of Mexico in New York, Ruben Beltran in an email to the Staten Island Advance."

That's really cute , the most corrupt police force in the world going to help the second most corrupt police force to defend their own.
At the risk of sounding like an elitist, I think that the Mexican Police should go home to Mexico and fight the crime there. Lord knows they have enough of it. I think that we are perfectly capable of fighting the crime here. The only reason that I can think of for the Mexican Police to be patroling in our country is that they want to make sure that we don't come after the illegals living here. They could also be here to take more bribes from the Mexican gangs and drug dealers. Remember, this is the "land of opportunity!"

This post is misleading. Mexican police will not be patrolling New York. Consular officials will be spending additional time in Staten Island after multiple Mexican citizens were beaten in what the NYPD has declared an episode of serial hate crimes. Many mexican citizens live in New York City, both legally and illegally.
