Ocean Pines - Delegate Jim Mathias (D, 38B), candidate for the Maryland State Senate, will host a Family and Friends Picnic on Sunday, September 19, 2010. The free event, held at White Horse Park in Ocean Pines, will run from 2 – 4 p.m, rain or shine.
Mathias invites the public to come enjoy a beautiful afternoon in the park. Complimentary catering by Em-ings will include chicken, hot dogs, iced tea and lemonade, and ice cream will be served. There will also be music for entertainment and more. Mathias hopes many in the public will take the opportunity to meet with him and his family as he aims to continue serving his constituents on the Lower Shore.

Mathias is a real person unlike his opponent. It's not all about Jim unlike his opponent. Jim will listen unlike his oppenent. Go Jim!

Michael James is one of the most decent men I've ever met. Upon meeting and marrying his wife Marilyn, he adopted her severely handicapped daughter (cerebral palsey) and took FULL financial responsibility for her. He didn't have to do this....but he loved her and felt it was his reeponsibility. He NEVER thinks of himself - always the other guy. If you want a "real" down to earth representative in Annapolis - one who will not rubber stamp the agenda of the Dems to the downfall of the Eastern Shore - then Michael is your man.
