First of all I want to say that the threat made on your family was completely uncalled for and rediculous. If that came from an adult, you my friend should be ashamed of yourself and I hope that you do not have children of your own. On a second note: For the Good of the New Day. I was "facebook stalking" as the kids call it these days and came across a Firefighters page in which looks like now he is a US Solider in the Army. Either way, the young man Zak Keenan of Salisbury I know helped my family when my mother had a fallen ill in our home sometime last year. The young man acted in a professional and proficient manner and brought a good light onto the Salisbury Fire Department along with his partner when at the time they much needed it. It looks to me that apparently while he was stationed at his Unit (not sure where) that another soldier went down and had stopped breathing. Zak it looks to have stepped up and I believe the word is "intubated" the fallen soldier and revived him. I saw that he was awarded an "Arcom" don't hold me to the spelling but just thought that it was pretty cool that a hometown fireman is performing his duties to help others not only here at home but abroad as well. From what my husband was telling me the "Arcom" is a highly respected medal of valor offerred by the Military. So to Mr. Keenan, we thank you and hope you continue to do what you do best and that is to help others. Thank you for your service.
