SOLDIER'S DEATH NOW A MURDER

Fredericksburg.com: "The July death in Iraq of a decorated Army medic from the Fredericksburg area was murder, her parents say they have been told by military investigators. The Army initially reported that Spc. Morganne McBeth, 19, a combat medic, died July 2 in a noncombat incident. Her parents, Leonard and Sylvia McBeth, who live in Stafford County, said yesterday they were first told by investigators that Morganne had accidentally stabbed herself at her base in western Iraq. Then, they say, the Army told them that she had been accidentally stabbed by another soldier, and finally, that she had been murdered and that two soldiers were involved."
