Location: Costco, 900 Center Blvd., Newark, DE
Date of Occurrence: Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 7:20 p.m.
Victim: 58 year old Newark man
Suspect: Black male, 25-30 years of age, 6’00” tall, 170 lbs, short black “military style” hair. He was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants. He was also armed with an automatic handgun.
Resume: The Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a Newark man which occurred in the parking lot of the Costco Wholesale Club yesterday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday as the victim was preparing to enter his vehicle which was parked in the lot. The victim was then approached by a male suspect who displayed a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The victim complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect. The suspect then fled and was last seen leaving the parking lot in a white unknown make and model two door vehicle. The victim was not injured.
