Here's an idea, pay for it like other cities do. Oh, the city doesn't have the money for it? Then don't get one.

Make it huge so when the Republicans take office the people can have go a Christmas Carolin around the tree.

Jim can buy one! Why should anyone donate a tree or anything else to Salisbury. The citizens have to buy their own tree. PLEASE! Give me a break! DONATE A TREE! After all the crap we've had here in this city all year. Ireton, get out your own wallet!

Here's a novel idea. PLANT ONE! Instead of killing a tree every year for a month or two just plant a nice Douglas Fir and let it grow then you won't have to have the Public Works department out begging for a tree.

Ireton is/was on the recycle committee I would have thought he would be more eco conscious.

No tree. Christmas cannot be held by the city or I will get the ACLU to sue unless they have a kwanzaa celebration too.
