COMCAST

In the Daily Effort in the TV listings the Phillies game has been scheduled on CSN all week, as of last night there has been no Phillies games.

On the CSN station during this time it says that the Phillies game is suppose to be on and instead I have seen the Washington feed showing Virginia spring football practice, a six month old soccer game and a Team Tennis match, I have called Comcast 5 different times, E-Mailed the head of customer service twice, been to the local office and no one can give me an answer why this is.

If we suppose to get the game then we should be getting it, if not correct the information.

Is there anyone you know with Comcast I can talk with. In calling the Salisbury and Dover numbers I have reached Canada and Florida.

Thanks
Joe Gebhart

PS: The volumn on 31 is screwed up and I can't find anyone to complain to

phillies?? you actually wanna watch that crap, they arent local so thats why we do not get their games on comcast. we are in the Baltimore/Washington market, so either move or pay for the baseball package to get out of market games, that channnel 31.1 gets some games however, so good luck and good luck being a fan of anything pennsylvania

The paper seems to be listing the Philly CSN line-up not the Washington CSN (Comcast SportsNet) for some reason. They've been doing this for a while, no idea why or how it started. It is annoying, yes. But there are always other ways to get the TV listings. One would think this would be a simple fix for the paper, but who knows.

Good luck being a fan of Pennsylvania?? When has Baltimore or Washington gone anywhere in any sport recently? Last time I checked, the Phillies won the National league the past two years and the world series in 08. The Flyers won the Eastern conference this year. Oh, and might I add, the season long first place Capitals were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs this year by the 8th seeded Montreal Canadiens. The Orioles haven't won anything since what? 83? Ravens were since when? 2000? Redskins? lol! Eagles won the conference in 2003, correct? Now, tell me again who needs the good luck?

I'm too getting tired of Comcast.
We seem to have some sort of problem EVERY month! Either the service isn't working all together with the box (which has been replaced twice in 3 months) or there are connection issues with the internet or like now, one tv has different audio timing than the other tv in the next room on the same channel.
I have spend hours online with them and all they keep telling me is well, we'll send out a stronger signal. WHAT? I'm already paying for your strongest signal, aren't I?
This latest problem has yet to be resolved. They're saying it's my television....it most certainly is NOT my television!
We have 2 other tv's in the house and it's the same way. The one with their box has different audio timing than the ones not on boxes.
I believe it's a ploy by Comcast to FORCE people to pay for MORE boxes!!!

If you want to watch the phillies, steelers, eagles, or any other team that you rooted for "back home" then move back. Pa fans are some of the worst. Espesicially Eagles fans. I was at a skins game one time and they played the eagles, the eagles fans had absolutely no respect that it was a the skins stadium, and cursed and gloated the whole game. I'm glad you can't watch them. hahahaha

psst..9:47, if you haven't noticed all of the Philly teams are now terrible.

Flyers had their Cinderella run this year.

Eagles are "rebuilding."

Phillies will not win the division this year.

and the 76'ers..lol.

Caps, Ravens, Wizards and the Skins will all be much better this year. I'm omitting the baseball teams because, well, they're terrible and will be for the immediate future. So you win that one.

However, our teams are better than yours currently. Stupid Philly fans.

10:15 - So what you are saying is the Ravens and Skins have been "rebuilding" as well? The Caps have no depth. The have Ovechkin, I'll give them that, he is one of the best, but he can't do it alone. Cinderella year for the Flyers? Nah, goaltending issues. At the beginning of the season, they were picked to win the cup. I can guarantee you, they will be a major contender again this year.

Philly's got most ungrateful fans ever. They sh!t all over McNabb.
Want to watch PA teams, move there. This Ravens (sometimes Deadskins) country!!!

BTW when was last time Eagles won the Superbowl?

F Philly!!!

We're going to a Philly game tonight as a matter of fact.
My daughter and future son-in-law live in Philly so we'll be attending the game with them.
Nothing wrong with supporting teams other than the "local" teams.

11:09, better take a set of earplugs so you dont have to listen to their crying and whining all night. I wouldn't go to a game in PA if someone paid me. Worst fans ever. Hands down.

Philly fans are known ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES (and I know because I've lived all over the U.S.) as the most obnoxious, violent, rude, and ill-behaved fans in any sport, anywhere. Nice rep to have...note the sarcasm....As far as Comcast is concerned, they act like they have a monopoly and can do whatever they want at whatever price they want to charge....oh yeah, thats right..they CAN.

At least you people HAVE Comcast.Try wanting cable and being willing to pay for it but its not available where you live.

Regardless of whether the game is on or not you are a phillies fan shouldnt you be coloring or building sand castles in a sand box somewhere?

Comcast says you are supposed to get CMT. GAC, the G4 network, but they block it from your tv getting the signals, to where you have to rent their cable box.

I have a 2009 Sony Bravia HDTV and comcast is screwing consumers by still making them get their worthless cable box.

I have gotten the extra innings package for the last 4 years so i can watch the Phillies every night. The station out of Delaware (12?) carried a few of the games but since have stopped. CSN was supposedly going to air Phillies games from CSN Philadelphia but alas have not. You can come over to my house and watch all the Phillies you want (I dont watch Kyle Kendrick pitch btw).
Go Phillies! Season isnt over yet and all you O's and Skins fans that posted above, chill out with the philly fans suck and read your own angry posts lol
