According to the Bay Bridge website, they will close one eastound lane from 9pm to midnight, and then both eastbound lanes from midnight to 5am.

2-way traffic will be implemented on the westbound lanes as needed during those time periods.

Close both sides as soon as all of the people that belong on the other side are home. After all traffic is clear and no one is in danger BLOW THEM UP!

Why? the new west bound was built substandard and now the public is paying for it again.
Why dont we get reliable people in out state gov that can do things right?
The old span was built in 1953 i believe and we have very little problem with that side of the bridge.
Ye s they are closing the old span but most of the problem is with the new side which is closed just about every night .
Of course when the o.c. crowd starts then it is open to suite the baltimore crowd .
Our state and federal government suck, and suck and suck again. Say what you want this is the truth, fix the sob once and for all. Oh and dont feel safe riding across because you are not.
what makes you think this is any safer than anything in americas infastructure, dont think that because it is not.

1:55, the "public" or the "taxpayers" did not pay for the bridge. It is paid for by bonds, which are financed by toll receipts.

If you don't like the bridge, then don't use it. You won't have to participate in paying for any maintenance.

There are alternate routes ...
