Upper 90 Soccer Academy

The Upper 90 Soccer Academy became the first Boy's soccer team from the Eastern Shore to ever advance to the Maryland State Cup Semi-Finals with a 1-0 overtime win over FC Frederick (#4 MD) yesterday in Jarrettsville, MD. Elmis Mayorga scored with 28 seconds left to secure an exciting win and pit Upper 90 against Olney Rangers (#1 MD) in a match to be held this weekend. Players from Wicomico, Worcester, Dorchester, Sussex and Accomac Counties are represented on the Upper 90 roster. The Maryland State Youth Soccer Association runs the annual Maryland State Cup Championships, a part of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series. Champions at various ages between 13 and 19 have been crowned since at least 1945.
