Troopers Investigating A Suspicious Death

Victim: 40 year-old male

Delaware State Police are investigating the suspicious death of a 40 year-old male who was found by a family member last evening.

Laurel Police were called to the 800 block of West 8th Street in Laurel to check on the welfare of a resident. When police arrived they found a 40 year-old man unresponsive.

The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit was called in to assist in the investigation.

The body was turned over to the State Medical Examiner’s Office pending an autopsy pending a cause and manner of death.
