Motor Vehicle Collision

Arrested:
Driver vehicle # 1: Brad Austin Wootten, W/M, Federalsburg, MD, 28 years old
Vehicle #1: 2000 White Ford Explorer, Maryland registration
LOCATION: E/B Route 50 Business E/O Baptist Street, Salisbury, MD

BRIEF RESUME:
On 4/23/2010,
at approximately 0156 hours troopers from the Salisbury Barrack responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of east bound Route 50 east of Baptist Street. There was road construction being conducted at the time of the collision and traffic was stopped in the roadway. The white Ford Explorer driven by Brad Wootten did not observe the traffic stopped and rear ended a passenger car at the end of the road closure. The initial collision caused a multi-car collision that resulted in four vehicles being damaged. Wootten fled the scene of the collision and was later stopped by troopers in the area of the collision. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest. Wootten is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of the collision, and negligent driving.

One of the vehicles he hit was a loaded gas tanker. No fuel leaked out, but the other cars were destroyed and boy what a mess it was to clean it up !!

He's a child rapist, why is he free? Hopefully this will violate his release terms and he'll get thrown back in jail for life.
