Updates to Jessica's Law Passes Unanimously

Joe is in Annapolis this morning. He just reported that the updates to Jessica's law has passed unanimously 136-0. Now if they would rewrite the death penalty laws so animals like Thomas Leggs would be guaranteed lethal injection once proven guilty, then they could say they accomplished something.

The only problem is that lethal injection is to humane of a way to put him to death. He needs something very painful to happen to him instead.

He won't walk, he is safer in prison than on the streets.

This 2007 file photo provided by Kathryn MacDonald, shows Jeff MacDonald at FCI Cumberland, Md. Forty years after Jeffrey MacDonald's pregnant wife and two daughters were slain, the former Army surgeon is getting another chance to convince a court that he did not commit the crime that spawned the book and TV miniseries "Fatal Vision." The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will hear arguments on the 40 year old case Tuesday, March 23, 2010. (AP Photo/Kathryn MacDonald, File)
