Please Help Support Coach's Corner Diner At 60th Street

Joe,

Martin Furst and his family operate Coach's Corner diner at 60th Street.

The diner is at the ground floor of the Sea Bay hotel. He'll never put his name
out there, because that's the kind of guy he is, but through fundraising and
donations the Fursts have worked to donate thousands of dollars to needy
families in Ocean City and the area. He is certainly not the only one giving
generously from Ocean City, but I bring this to your attention because his diner
will be closing tomorrow, Sunday the 3rd of January.

The hotel owners have decided not to renew the diner lease, and will try to take over the restaurant and operate it themselves. I bring this to your attention because I think folks should flood the diner on Sunday, have a meal, and show their support for a family that has for years worked to support the community and those who weren't as blessed financially.

He's a great guy, in a very unfortunate situation.

I believe he has been in that location since the 1980's. He greets you wherever you run into him, with a smile. A class act.

Let's hope we see him re-open soon in a nearby location. He will be missed.

That's what happens when you lease a property. Best of luck to them.
