My daughter used to stay at this family's house and I put a STOP to it once my gut told me something was wrong and another parent called and told me some things. Another parent and I reported some things to law enforcement in O.C. where this sick bastard had a condo and pleaded w/them to investigate him. I will be calling law enforcement back w/what I know. Levi Willey, you crossed boundaries and you ROT IN HELL!!!! Parents who know him, I found out he used to let young girls skinny dip in his pool, provided alcohol to minors, and let teens (male and female) hang out in his motor home in his yard as minors. He always got too involved w/young girls and always had kids spending the night and wanted to take other kids on vacation w/him. I hope to God my daughter was never videotaped in any way while in his home. Some felt too harsh about my comments, well I was RIGHT,RIGHT, RIGHT along w/another parent who's life he tried to make hell for this mother intruding in their life, texting their dtr,etc. You 18 yr old girls and parents, please come forward! Now! My dtg is lucky he never did anything to her but we will be having another long talk today! Police,check his computer, cell, motor home, oc condo. OMG! My gut was so RIGHT! My dtr used to spend the night w/this family and was good friends w/his dtr at one time who is now 18! A parent once called to tell me red flags and we warned other parents about him. I immediately stopped my dtr from going there when I heard he was providing alcohol to minors at a party, letting young teens (middle school)go into his motorhome in his yard unsupervised, and skinny dip and run naked as a joke down the street. He is a SICK man who used to text some of the kids and always seemed to want kids at his house. Parents, go w/your GUT and you friends of his dtr, who are 18 now, please come forward and parents come forward. This man was always getting too involved in kids personal lives!!! I knew it! Another mom and I once reported him to O.C. police where he had a condo. That was several summers ago...why did it take this long???? He always wanted her friends to go on family trips w/them too. I am so not suprised. I am a victim...my step father molested me for 2 years when I was 9 and I fought the system and he was arrested, tried, convicted and went to jail. He was sentenced to 13 years (WTF) he served like 9 or 10 and is out.....he was listed on the registered sex offenders list for years but when I went on there last week he is no longer on there.....not sure why...do they come off after a few years or maybe he moved to find new victims??? I was not his first victim I am just the one that stood up to him at 12 years old. I wonder how many more victims he has now. We need to make some changes or our children will never be safe! MADD has the program down for DWI offenders. There needs to be a group of concerned citizens in the courtroom keeping track of these injustices and reported back to the public.

Why wasn't this reported on WBOC, or WMDT? 60 charges related to seually abusing a minor(s), and this is the first we hear of it?... and to top it off, he's bailed out?? There's a LOT wrong with this picture. We need to know more. Can anyone provide more details, including a photo of this "alleged" pedofile? These crimes against the children in our community need to completely out in the open and details readily available so we can avoid another Sarah Foxwell story. How can we make this happen? I would like a list of the circuit court judges and district court judges as well as the magistrates. Letters should be written to each and everyone to express the public opinion. at the same time registered letters need to be sent to every representative demanding change. ! 11:32 - You sure are right about MADD. But let's face it - drinking a bit too much in a bar and getting behind the wheel is something that we all have probably been guilty of at some point or another. It was just a dumb choice and even if we don't get caught, we're scared out of our wits.
Sex offenders are completely different. With deals, plea bargains, and stet dockets, the penalties for such a horrible crime are less severe than say drunk driving or a minor drug offense. Sexual predation is a premeditated act, and the fact that these sick individuals weight the pros and cons of being caught and still pursue their course of action speaks volumes about what kind of people they are and the fact that they simply won't stop.
Remove them from society for the maximum amount of time allowed by law, and no plea bargains when it involves minors. Period.

Blogs are good for what they are. They allow you to express your opinion on your emotions. The problem with them are a lot of these comments. People use their emotions and not comprehend what they are reading. Something to ponder on. How come this happen after a disgruntled employee quit. When I was in Nursing school, our Psychology professor lectured to us that everyone wears a mask. It doesn't matter how well you think you know someone, you really don't, because you can't read his mind.
Rick, the penalties are severe but never imposed. Maryland has sentencing guidelines, but never, until someone gets murdered are the maximums implemented. Leggs' sexual offense charges were put on stet and he was found guilty of 2nd degree assualt in 2000. I believe he could have been given 10 yrs for that offense. Then he violated probation in 2006 and who knows what happened with that, but with his prior record he should have been put in jail for the violation. He's consistantly ignored the laws we have in place including providing false info on the sex offenders registry. He supposedly was also working at his family's business. There are many people that say we should incorporate Sharia law into our laws. How about incorporating how they deal with low life sex offenders? And we could start with this case.

Also,I watch a show on A&E called Intervention and I have noticed a recurring theme in that almost all the female addicts,whether they be addicted to meth,booze or crack,were sex abuse survivors.It happens more than we think.
totmom, Most sex abuse survivors do not go on to become addicted. It's just a built in excuse for someone to use drugs, booze whatever. We need to get off that way of thinking.

Does anyone know how close a sex offender can live to a school? Is the sheriff's office the place to get that information or should I call social services? There are some offenders living across from Bennett and one living next to Pemberton. Probably more but that's all I noticed as I quickly went through the registry information.

This issue involves his father and it is no one else's place to make assumptions as you do not know what your talking about. Mr. Levi Jr. is one of the most amazing men I have ever met and would do anything to help someone out. So if anyone wants to say something about him then say something to me!!

I am Levi Willey Jr's wife. I have known my father in law for over 25 yrs and he has always had outstanding character traits and moral excellence. He has been married for 61 yrs. This month being their Anniversary. His wife is failing. It pains me to see her in this way. Levi Sr. has refused to wallow in self pity. In fact the worse things get for him the omre intent he seems on making sure no one is around is saddened. His first and foremost concern is my mother-in-law,Mary. She will not eat, is refusing her medication, is stiff and unmovable and her husband is with her 24/7 as her primary caregiver. If you have ever cared for a parent you know the difficulty. He only goes out of the house to pick up the mail or milk and is only gone for minutes so she does not fall. Mary has always been the glue that binds the family together. She has always listened (Maybe that is where Levi Jr. gets it). She is stubborn yets strong willed. Lately she is senile or developing dimenseia or altimizers take your pick! She will begin to talk but I don't think she can bear the thought that if she stumbled one word or lost her place she would be afraid that we would see her discombobulated and it would remind the ones she loves that she is dying. She does not want to scare us like that! So she says nothing. All along they are always thinking about the family. We are grateful for what God has given us. My inlaws have been married for 61yrs and I have learned a lot about love from them. Don't worry if you are one of those who wants to fry Pop. He answers to an even greater authority. Justice will prevail. I only hope God has Mercy on him because he has lived a good life and in accordance with the Bible. I do not condone his actions. Nor is it my place to judge. But what some do not understand is this preteen if she was hugged by Pop that is a count, if he touched her that is another count, etc. etc. This happened over a period of 10 days. THERE WERE NO PRIOR INCIDENCES. NO OTHER CHILDREN. GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT. POP ADMITTED SOMETHING OCCURED THAT IS ALL! MOREOVER HE NEVER DEFENDED HIMSELF. The student went over to my inlaws and knocked several days after school to come in and help Pop and Mom. My inlaws were not her babysitters. She voluntarily wanted to see them and in fact called them her Mom Mom and Pop Pop. I do not know what happened but Levi Willey Sr. has two grandaughters who will attest that nothing ever occured with them,not one incidence or any other child he drove to school because he drove his grandaughter every day to school and some of her friends often. My father in law will be punished for his actions as he should, but I pray God looks favorable on him for his prior years of moral excellence. LET WHO HAS NEVER DONE ANYTHING WRONG CAST THE FIRST STONE. God Bless the family's suffering.

No one expects you to do anything besides take up for your father in law. However, hiding behind spirituality isn't going to fly with most people. There are plenty of god faring people out here that go to church, live good family lives, have long marriages, are civic minded, and on and on. They may even have sick family members too as you point out. Point being, all of that means absolutely nothing to the child that was violated and the family of that child. No one wants to hear that line of talk that amounts to basically a poor excuse at defending this man's character. Ted Bundy was on his way to being a lawyer and was involved in politics. He turned out to be a serial killer. John Wayne Gacey was by all accounts as civic minded as you can be, he was a child molester and serial killer as well. The first part of your post Mrs. Willey is almost sickening. So what if he was a great person in all the ways you describe. And so what how long he was married. And I'm sure people sympathize as far as his caring for a failing spouse, but all that means nothing. 60 whopping charges brought against this man and you would have us listen to your attempts at interpreting the law. "If he hugged this one its a charge", "if he did this its a charge". I will allow the courts to tell me what constitutes a charge, many of which charge him with crimes sexual in nature. I'm sorry but I do not believe your descriptions of what makes up a charge against a person. Its hard to believe that "sex abuse" and "sexual offence" (as the charges spell out) are as innocent as your father in law hugging a child. Don't sell us such non sense. Read those charges, that's more than a touch or a hug. Hiding behind your bible or your religion or your good family and good deeds is no defense with the extent of that laundry list of charges against him. If it was sympathy you wanted from that crap message I can tell you one person that's not giving it to you, ME.....
Go to the maryland judiciary case search which is public information and see all the charges are 2nd, 3rd, 4th degree sex offenses, assault, etc. This is more than hugging.

I am officially scared to let my children, 2 and 6, out of my sight. It's just getting worse and worse.
I am so tired of people like this especially since I was a victim of this type of crime and aperson just like him did this to me
