Troopers Investigating Home Invasion

Location: 28000 block of Carpenter Road, Milton, Sussex County, DE

Delaware State Police are investigating a home invasion which occurred Saturday evening.

Troopers responded to the 28000 block of Carpenter Road near Milton Saturday evening during the snow storm after three male suspects entered the home. The suspects barged into the home and confronted a 17 year-old male and an 18 year-old female. The male was shot multiple times in the leg and the female was shot in the arm. The suspects fled the area by unknown means.

Both victims were taken to Beebe Hospital in Lewes where they were admitted with non-life threatening injuries.

Troopers are still determining a motive for the crime.
