Protection For Home

If you don't have a gun, here's a more humane
way to wreck someone’s
evil plans for you.

Did you know this? I didn't. I never really thought of it
before.

I guess I can get rid of the baseball bat.

Wasp Spray
A friend who is a receptionist in a church in a high risk area was
concerned about someone coming into the office on Monday to rob them
when they were counting the collection. She asked the local police
department about using pepper spray and they recommended to her that
she get a can of wasp spray instead.

The wasp spray, they told her, can shoot up to twenty feet away and is
a lot more accurate, while with the pepper
spray, they have to get too close to you and could overpower you. The
wasp spray temporarily blinds an attacker until they get to the
hospital for an antidote. She keeps a can on her desk in the office
and it doesn't attract attention from people like a can of pepper
spray would. She also keeps one nearby at home for home protection.
Thought this was interesting and might be of use.

On the heels of a break in and beating that left an elderly woman in
Toledo dead, self defense experts have a tip that could save
your life.

Val Glinka teaches self-defense to students at
Sylvania Southview High School. For decades, he's suggested putting a
can of wasp and hornet spray near your door or bed.

Glinka says, "This is better than anything I can teach them."

Glinka considers it inexpensive, easy to find, and more effective than
mace or pepper spray. The cans typically shoot 20 to 30 feet; so
if someone tries to break into your home, Glinka says "spray the
culprit in the eyes". It's a tip he's given to students for
decades.

It's also one he wants everyone to hear. If you're looking for
protection, Glinka says look to the spray.

"That's going to give you a chance to call the police; maybe get
out."

Maybe even save a life.

Please share this with all the people in your life

If you don't have a gun , buy the wasp spray. Then , go buy a gun for back-up. You are going to need a gun in the near future anyway. You have the right to bear arms! If you think this comment is scarey , well , it should be. Salisbury has 3 hypocrites on the council , comegy , smith and shannie. They have always told you guys that crime is not a problem. Now they try to blame the new mayor! obama , comegy , smith and shields , what a mess!

Not only will it fend off the intruder, but it will kill the lice in his hair at the same time.

10:24~Be careful. Pepperspray is considered a weapon in the state of Maryland if you get pulled over with it.

Its important to keep fight weapons in every room of the house and keep the family informed as to where and what they are just as you would practice a fire escape for each area.

For women, things like baseball bats and hammers can be dangerous because they can be turned on you.

You have to use your head and distance weapons such as the bug spray and not depend on your strength unless you get to one on one contact.

Remote control lighting is important as well. Carry the remote to bed with you and keep it by your side.

A dog is the best alarm system, even a little one that barks. They can inform you of the opportunity of an intruder long before they get inside of your home so you can be in the ready mode to take them down and contact your neighbors for help.

It is important to use your imagination when setting up your home with boobie traps in every room because then it is not what the intruder would expect.

11:47 thanks for the heads up with pepper spray law. But the way I see it is I don't relay on any one but myself to look out for me or my faimly. I think that is one of the problmes people have they realy on every one else to take care of them.the cops cant take of you they gust show up after and take a report. I have often thought about carrying a gun but with the pepper spray there is no hesitation I have used it befor and it works.

One thing to consider about using the wasp spray is that for it to shoot 20-30 feet is that you will have to shake it for at leat 15 seconds. Time enough for the intruder to be on you. Just a thought,

A shotgun is also a very good weapon to have for home protection. Easy to use and very loud. Can use small bird shot or large 00 or even a slug - your preference. If someone is breaking into your home you will want to have real protection preferrably - not bug spray.

Just a thought.
