Crossover Closure at Route 113 and Arrow Safety Road in Georgetown
Georgetown -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that it has implemented a median crossover closure at US 113 and Arrow Safety Road in Georgetown effective in late December.
US 113 southbound traffic will no longer be able to turn left off of US 113 onto Arrow Safety Road, and will need to travel to Shortly Road and US 113 to make a u-turn to go north to access Arrow Safety Road. US 113 northbound traffic will still be permitted to make right turns off of Arrow Safety Road.
As DelDOT continually assesses crossovers and intersection for safety, this was identified as an intersection that could easily be made safer with the closure of the median crossover.
