Pemberton Historical Park To Host Turkey Trek 5K Run

(Salisbury, MD) Put the turkey in the oven this Thanksgiving and begin the holiday season at Pemberton Historical Park for their 1st Annual Turkey Trek 5K Run. This race will be held on Thursday, November 26 at 9:00AM. The course will run through Pemberton’s beautiful nature trails. Participants will receive a t-shirt, snacks before the race and pie, ice cream and cider after the race to celebrate the holiday. Winners in the overall men’s and women’s categories will receive treats for their Thanksgiving feasts, including a turkey! Proceeds will benefit Pemberton’s Environmental Education Programs.
